Definition:

Kidney with multiple cysts which, in its congenital form, may result from a primary developmental anomaly of the renal parenchyma [Q61.3], or from the destruction of the parenchyma by urinary obstruction and upstream urinary ureteropelvic hypertension [Q62.0].
