Definition:

Digitalized Thumb:
Absent thumb, replaced by a tri-phalangeal non-opposable digit called tri-phalangeal thumb, or type II Polydactyly.
Macrodactyly:
Hypertrophied digit of hand or foot, mainly in its length.

Called finger-like thumb or unopposable triphalangic thumb. It may be of autosomal dominant inheritance and the triphalangic thumb can also be duplicated, occurring together with the non-duplicated one in different hands in the same person or in different people of the same family, indicating that it is the same anomaly: triphalangic thumb with or without duplication {OMIM 174500}.
