Limb reduction defects - Longitudinal Axial » Limbs Q71.6 - Q72.7

Definition:

Medial axial cleft of the hand [Q71.6] or foot [Q72.7], or lobster or crab claw, with absence of fingers, variable, reaching a single finger: MONODACTYLY.
It is also called ECTRODACTYLY, name that should be avoided because it is unspecific (meaning abortive digits).
